APOLLO REVISED CODE
§ 4.1 — DELEGATION OF IMPERIAL AUTHORITY
WHEREAS (1), the efficient administration of the Empire of Apollo requires the systematic delegation of certain imperial functions to designated officers and instrumentalities;
WHEREAS (2), such delegation must be strictly limited, supervised, and revocable at the pleasure of the Emperor of Apollo;
WHEREAS (3), the framework for lawful delegation must be codified to prevent unauthorized exercise of imperial authority in contravention of ARC § 1.1;
NOW, THEREFORE, BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE EMPEROR OF APOLLO, AND PURSUANT TO ARC § 1.1.2, IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED:
§ 4.1.1 — Requirements for Valid Delegation
(a) All delegations of imperial authority shall be made by means of a duly promulgated AEI or ARC provision that:
(i) Identifies the Delegate by title or position;
(ii) Specifies the scope of Delegated Authority with particularity;
(iii) States the purpose for which the authority is delegated;
(iv) Establishes the conditions, limitations, and duration of the delegation.
§ 4.1.2 — Sub-delegation
No Delegate shall sub-delegate any portion of Delegated Authority without express authorization in the Delegating Instrument.
§ 4.1.3 — Revocation of Delegation
The Emperor of Apollo may revoke any delegation of authority at any time, with or without cause, by means of a duly promulgated instrument. Revocation does not affect the validity of any lawful act performed prior to revocation.
